You have to really want to live abroad to put yourself through the seemingly endless list of requirements AND to navigate them in a foreign language. It makes you appreciate what you might have taken for granted in your home country.
When I overheard people speaking Spanish in the U. S., I leaned in to hear their conversations, and realized how much I missed hearing and speaking this beautiful language.
I didn’t second guess whether I should see a movie. It was one of my intentions to do more movie watching so I cut out the internal back and forth: Go or don’t go? Yes or no? It’s a yes, just do it!
Sometimes you need to just say yes to new things. This was one of those weeks. Something new? Something random? Okay, why not? Let’s GO!!!
